La Casa del Peregrino is a highly rated hostel-hotel located in El Acebo de San Miguel, near Molinaseca, in the province of León. It's a popular stopover for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago.

One of the best hostels on the Camino Francés. Very friendly staff, great rooms, laundry service for €7, excellent food, a fantastic location with a fantastic panoramic terrace... A definite recommendation for any weary pilgrim; this is a great place to recharge and enjoy!

We stopped by in really gloomy weather. It was a welcome spot to warm up by the fireplace. I had the best hot chocolate ever.

The Los Templarios pilgrim refuge is located in Manjarín, a tiny mountain enclave on the French Way. This hostel is one of the most peculiar and well-known on the route. It is managed by Tomás Martínez, a hospitaler and former pilgrim who felt the Templar call during a stay in Ponferrada. Although it does not offer luxurious amenities (it has no bathrooms or showers), it is an energetic place where pilgrims can rest and pray three times a day. A light that illuminates and welcomes you in the middle of the road! 🚶‍♂️🌟
