The Pantà de Brinxa is a water reservoir located in the Riera de Fuirosos, in Catalonia, Spain. This reservoir, located 219 meters above sea level, is located in an area known as Sot de la Brinxa, also called Gorg Negre due to the dark color that the water acquires in this place. The main purpose of its construction was to guarantee the availability of water for irrigation of fields and meadows in the valley. This project was carried out by the owners of can Riera, who also built other reservoirs in the area, such as Crous, can Riera and can Torres. Furthermore, the Pantà de la Brinxa is located near the Montnegre i el Corredor Natural Park, in the Vallès Oriental region, a region that stands out for its scenic value and its wooded environment, rich in holm oaks, cork oaks, chestnut trees, among others. ​.

The mouth of the Tordera forms a natural delta thanks to the sediments carried by the river. After the Gloria storm in 2020 and thanks to the massive influx of sediments, the delta experienced the greatest growth in recent years, when a large sand bar formed that goes 300 meters into the sea and has created a huge inner lagoon. The Delta de la Tordera has been declared a Protected Natural Area, and is included in the Natura 2000 Network. The landscape of the delta shows mainly swampy vegetation and riparian forest, including reedbeds. You can also find numerous animal species, such as the leper pond turtle, the southern frog, the spur toad, the collared snake, or birds such as thrushes, gray herons, kingfishers and others.

For me, headlights have been a constant that has accompanied me over the years. Its silhouette has always had something that attracted me, perhaps its light that breaks the darkness of the night and gives tranquility to those who observe it. Of all of them, however, there is one that is not found in nautical charts. I am referring to the Can Jalpí lighthouse in Arenys de Munt, five kilometers from the coast and surrounded by oaks and pines. The lighthouse is located inside the farm of the same name, today turned into a public park. The one in Can Jalpí is a mountain lighthouse. In this case, instead of navigators, the lighthouse offers shelter to mountaineers.
