LEISURE AREA, CAMPING AREA AND SHELTER OF SANT ANTONI AND SANTA BARBARA The hermitage of Sant Antoni and Santa Bàrbara d'Ulldemolins houses a leisure area equipped with barbecues and picnic tables, a camping area for camperized vehicles and tents and, a mountain refuge. It is 700 meters high and is a starting point for several routes to such emblematic places as the Toll de l'Ou, the Fraguerau Gorge, the Cadolles Fondes or Margalef. In the route space you will find more details. Camping and caravan area: The area around the hermitage has a large esplanade where caravans can spend the night or pitch tents. Access by vehicle is via a track that passes behind the shelter. In the leisure area near the camping area there are tables, barbecues, sinks and toilets for the use of people who are camping there or staying overnight. The shelter: Since 2007, the hermitage has had a building with several spaces equipped as a mountain refuge. This building, attached to the hermitage itself, is divided into a living room, kitchen and communal dining room equipped with a fireplace, tables, benches, sink and two gas stoves with utensils to manage meals independently. Another important room in the shelter is the shared room; the uppermost room of the building is where four wooden bunk beds with 24 mattresses with covers and pillows are placed. And finally, the equipment has two toilets, two showers with hot water and a sink next to the dining room. The house is not connected to the electricity grid but has a basic supply thanks to the installation of solar panels. Within the refuge service, you can enjoy meals (breakfast, half board or full board) to be specified in advance. Booking conditions Reception hours must be agreed in advance if they are not held during opening hours (this varies according to the season, check the website or Instagram profile @la_somereta). A non-refundable deposit and bank transfer fee will be charged if canceled less than 7 days in advance. At the time of leaving the house, the remaining percentage of the services enjoyed will be paid in cash. From 11pm, absolute silence will be observed in all facilities. The shelter has a large dining room with a fireplace and free kitchen space. The toilet block consists of two showers with hot water, two toilets and a sink. On the top floor of the house is the room, large, and ready for 20 people. It offers homemade menus based on the typical and traditional cuisine of the area. For groups they offer a la carte or buffet breakfasts according to the needs of each group. On special dates (bridges, Christmas, Easter ...) special conditions are established. This time we were alone and enjoyed the surroundings.

Simple guarded shelter located in the village of Albarca, in the Priorat, with more than twenty places to spend the night, distributed in several bunk beds with mattresses and blankets, among other facilities. It is located in the city center. The refuge was originally located in an old farmhouse in the village acquired and converted by the Mountain Hiking Group until closing in 1975 due to deterioration. The current building, inaugurated in 1983, was built by the Center Excursionista Tarragona. The space is divided between a large living room with terrace, two bathrooms and a bedroom with bunk beds for twenty-four people, and has electricity and hot water. Although it has no telephone or radio station, the shelter is well connected within the town of Albarca. It also offers free kitchen and meals (with prior reservation), area information and guidance. From this point you can start the ascent to Roca Corbatera, 1166 meters above sea level. CAPACITY - For 24 people with bunk beds. ROOMS - 1 bedroom with bunk beds, 2 bathrooms with hot water and 1 large living room with terrace. SERVICES - Bicycle rental (also electric!) - Rental of equipment for via ferratas - Half day, full day or night guided routes. From the shelter or in a place to be agreed, adapted to all levels - Thematic outings - Activities for families and groups in the Prades Aventura park (paintball, escape room, mini-games…) - Souvenir shop, local wines, maps and hiking guides.
