Below the town of Sant Antoni de Benaixeve and before touching the waters of the Túria there is a small recreational forest called Vallesa, at the end, we find this reservoir that collects its waters.

We Valencians don't get to value the wealth of our territory so well intertwined with ditches and canals that nourish our banks and marshlands with water. In this case, in a marsh area, where the landscape changes according to the rhythm of the rice cultivation, and where it is very easy to see numerous fauna (marsh birds, river cranes, etc.).

The lake belongs to the La Vallesa forest. Part of this area is publicly accessible thanks to an agreement between the owner and the Paterna City Council, but unfortunately, the lake is in the part that continues to have restricted access.

It is a beautiful place to take pictures at sunset, you can take a boat tour, or just take a walk watching the landscape. The Blava route will enjoy the Albufera in a different way, walking through the rice fields in a unique natural environment. Nice reservoir within the Vallesa Forest. A nice and quiet place to appreciate nature. The road to get here is very picturesque and entertaining for all kinds of activities.

Parque de Cabecera is one of the most popular places due to its beautiful surroundings and for being one of the largest and widest parks in Valencia. It occupies part of the old Turia riverbed and has an artificial lake, called Swan Lake, where you can see waterfowl and fish. A few meters from its end is the last point where you can see running water in the old bed of the Turia, which flows from the Molino del Sol and falls from a dam.
