Nerve center of Torrent. Beginning of Avenida al Vedat, in front of the town hall

Large tree in the initial roundabout of Avinguda del Vedat, right in front of Torrent town hall. It is the usual meeting point for the night cycling trips organized by the Col·lectiu Soterranya. The "bicinits" are a way to get to know the culture and traditions of the towns of L'Horta Sud, by visiting them by bike. They usually take place weekly during the nights of June and July, and serve to bring together bike lovers and Valencian culture, with a shared cabasset dinner.

Very interesting trees. We were lucky that at this time of year we not only saw the fruits and seeds, but also a flower.

The El Vedat area is a natural forest with very beautiful paths to walk and recreational areas that are also very popular in spring and summer.

There is currently a modern market on the ground floor, cafeteria and multipurpose rooms on the upper floors, intended for conferences, exhibitions, etc.

This is the tower of homage to the defunct castle of Torrent and now Plaça Major de Torrent. It has an almost square floor plan (13.35 by 13.90 meters), a height of 22 meters. Opposite is the old market.

The tower has its architectural charm and tries to remember the missing tower in the Castle of Alaquàs (now rebuilt).
