The ascent to the top from the town of Alfarnate can be demanding but it does not have any technical difficulties. The views from its top at 1415 meters above sea level are amazing and without a doubt it is worth getting here.

Think it's the highest peak around and have a nice view all round. There is a letter box for wishes so you may write down your wishes in a slip if paper and drop it there

The walk up to the vertex is aesy but does feature some rocky passages so proper footwear is definitely recommended. There is hardly any shade up there and also on the way to the vertex, so the best time of year to visit the vertex and the mailbox would probably be fall, winter and spring. We went on a foggy day so the view was not great. On a sunny day it must be fabulous.
