This farmhouse is very special: it's built taking advantage of the natural shelter of a large rock and is located next to the Fontscalents stream. This spot has been home to different generations for over a thousand years, from medieval times until very recently, making it a place steeped in history. Although its name is already mentioned at the end of the 12th century, the building that stands today is the result of later renovations, especially from the 17th and 18th centuries. Some dates engraved in the stone still offer clues to these works. The façade, with its irregular and rustic appearance, blends elements of well-worked stone with simpler walls made of rubble and mortar.

Exceptional farmhouse built under a balma, next to the stream of Fontscalents. This place was inhabited from the early medieval period until the beginning of the 21st century. The toponym has been documented since 1192 and the farmhouse itself, since 1408. The construction that has come down to us is later, built between the 17th and 18th centuries. From this century there are several dates inscribed on the lintels: 1748, 1755. The facade, completely irregular, preserves several doors and windows framed with well-cut stone, while the facing is made of pebbles and little or no worked stones tied with mortar

It is located on a hill with a flat and extensive top, next to the urban area of the town of Tona in the Osona region. The castle is located in the northeast corner. There is an extraordinary panoramic view towards the Massif del Montseny, Collsuspina and Montanyola. Of the old Tona castle, all that remains today is a defense tower set directly on the rock. It has a square base, covered with a barrel vault, measuring 4.85 x 5.10 m. Average external height of 7.5 m. and wall thickness of 2.30 m. It has been said that it was perhaps a tower of Roman origin since a Roman road passed very close to this place, connecting the plain of Vich with Barcelona.

The castle of Olost is located in a hollow – therefore in a not very strategic situation – next to the stream of Olost and to the south of the town of Olost and very close to its main nucleus, although it belongs to the municipality of Oristà. Marfà is a farmhouse and old castle of Castellcir. It centers the enclave of the Vall de Marfà. On the north-east side of the farmhouse is the church of Sant Pere de Marfà, which had a parish character. A family from Terrassa has owned it since 2013. There were farmers until the sixties of the twentieth century, and later the house has been kept in good condition, despite the fact that no one lives there continuously.
