Breathtaking view of the fjord. Pause, marvel, and enjoy nature at its best. After the experience, I feel grounded again. How small a person is when I take in this surroundings. The tour was strenuous, and sturdy footwear is a must, but it's a tour I won't soon forget.

What magnificent nature. A strenuous climb, but always rewarded by breathtaking views. Lots of people rush to the summit, take a selfie, and then head back down as quickly as possible. I don't understand these people; nature is much, much more than just scenery.

The view from Bakkanosi is nothing short of breathtaking, offering a spectacular panorama over the Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From the summit, steep cliffs plunge dramatically into the deep blue waters below, while snow-capped peaks stretch endlessly into the horizon.

Wonderful to enjoy the mountain panorama all around and the mountain stream.

The way to Kaldavasshytta is very well marked with the red "T". Above the Scheefeld up here, the marking changes to wooden sticks, which can be seen in the 3rd photo by Buskultur. They are spaced so closely that you can see from one to the next even in dense fog. Incidentally, there doesn't seem to be as much snow here as in the summer of 2010.

The mountain tour on the Oksen is demanding and in some sections steep and rocky. There are several places where you can fill up your water bottles. At the summit you will be rewarded with an extremely impressive view.

After the ascend on the Rimstigen, the mountain flattens to an elevated plain with a little lake and a panoramic view around the mountains and steep walls surrounding the Nærøyfjord.
