Lake Lomsen is just a short walk from Ritamäki and boasts the usual wilderness hut, fireplace and outdoor toilet. It features on the Finnskogleden long-distance hike on the stage between Mitandersfors and Lebiko. Don't forget your insect repellent!

Skålsjön is a pretty lake beneath Källerashöjden, not far from Mitandersfors. In typical fashion, the lake has a classic shelter with a fireplace and outdoor toilet. It features on the Finnskogleden long-distance trail.

Nice place + toilet and access to the lake

Bæreia is a lake located close to Kongsvinger, surrounded by typical forest terrain. The road Bæreiavegen follows part of its shoreline, offering pleasant perspectives and nice views of the landscape.

Nice windbreak with benches and table, in front of which there is a fireplace and a trash can. Camping directly next to the windbreak is not possible because of the sloping ground. But you should be able to find somewhere nearby.

3.5 hours of walking without rushing. Just over the Norwegian border is a picnic area. In Ritamäki (1.3 km from the end or starting point) waffles and coffee are served in summer as a nice conclusion.
