The outward journey wasn't to our liking. 🤷 At least 2 km of road, and then the rest of the way was a wide gravel path to the lake. The return journey was a bit more varied. The view was very beautiful. 🤓

Loen Skylift is an aerial tramway in Loen in Stryn, Norway. The cable car climbs 1,011 meters to the top of Mount Hoven above the Nordfjord. The maximum speed is 7 meters per second. With a gradient of up to 60°, it is one of the steepest in the world. The average is 45°.

Beautiful lake with barbecue area

Gravel road turns into a path with stones/rocks/river. It's a pleasant incline, but it gets steeper at the top of the sheepfold. You always have a wonderful view of the lake/mountains/snow and often meet sheep. At the top you are in an idyllic landscape with a lake and a few huts, surrounded by mountain peaks. Sturdy, waterproof footwear is recommended.

The Geirangerfjord is uniquely beautiful. You should enjoy it with the small ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger.

A beautiful clear lake overlooking the Bergsetnakken. The hut by the lake can be rented for barbecues or overnight stays. The lake was originally created to supply water to the mills below. Some of the mills are still preserved and can be admired on the wayside.
