The outward journey wasn't to our liking. 🤷 At least 2 km of road, and then the rest of the way was a wide gravel path to the lake. The return journey was a bit more varied. The view was very beautiful. 🤓

Please note: Several sections of the route suggested by Komoot cross private property, which annoys the owner. He explicitly asked us to report this, as otherwise many cruise ship tourists would wander onto his property. He doesn't find it funny. We recommend taking the turnoff at point 2 and taking the slightly longer route towards the village at the end. This will also help with the locals.

The Nordfjord region lies between the large glaciers of mainland Europe and the great sea depths off the Norwegian coast with high mountain ranges and beautiful valleys as well as several bays. One of these ends in the town of Nordfjordeit. Here you will find ideal conditions for hiking (several hundred marked hiking trails). It is also very popular as a holiday region for divers, swimming, boat and ship tours, canoe and kayak trips, and cycling.
