The climb from the parking lot to Kjeretoppane is no problem. After that, the trail to the summit of Veten is very challenging. It climbs steeply and exposed, with no trail visible anywhere. There are good markers (red posts). Recommended only for experienced hikers.

One of the most popular hikes in Fjord Norway - the Norwegians call the mountain “the highest sea cliff in Europe”. A breathtaking view awaits you at the summit.

Worthwhile viewing point with seating and a small shelter. Binoculars are also installed here. The way up here is easy and the view over the islands is really worthwhile.

Beautiful round with great views of the archipelago. And a wonderful rest. Descend may choose the same as ascent. The way back as we did it was a bit steep and slippery.

For the return journey, take the narrow path marked with bamboo poles: to the right over the hill when your back is to the summit stone. It's harder to find, but offers a fantastic view of the fjord and the glaciers.
