At the summit of Meslhornet, you’ll find a map marker that helps you identify the landscape. Before you lies a stunning panorama, with Lake Snipsøyrvatnet to the west and the fjords to the east.

Lidaveten is a 592-meter-high peak on the headland between Orstafjorden and Voldsfjorden. An impressive stone tower marks the highest point of the peak, from where you have a unique 360-degree view.

A gravel path leads from a parking lot to the summit. The ascent is quite steep in sections, but the effort is worth it, because the view from the summit is outstanding!

This one is called Sheep Horn for a reason. Last 200m hard to call hiking, it's steep climbing up until tou reach the top, which is sharp cliff with snow laying down below. Spectacular views all the way. If you have a chance to do it - go for it!

Parking is available down the mountain. At the campsite over the bridge and then the valley high after 300m. Sometimes they cost 50 NOK. The backs are free. In the village there is also a very well-stocked small shop. They also have ice cream.

The increased meters that Komoot gives are incorrect. We have risen about 1100 meters in total.
