Gaustatoppen Turisthytte is famous for it's waffles – incredibly it sells over 50,000 a year. It's the ideal fuel after the long pull up towards Gaustatoppen's summit ridge. Built in 1893, this DNT hut is available to book and serves other food beyond waffles and drink too.

Very, very tasty Rømmegrøt with homemade lemonade. Highly recommended after a day of hiking!

small ⭐⭐⭐ hotel. Overnight stays in huts or in the main house.. bookable with and without meals. The communal kitchens leave nothing to be desired: among other things, there are chest freezers and large refrigerators for your groceries. but the best thing is the location: direct view of the Gaustatoppen and the Kvitavatn Lake....spectacular

Beautiful, new DNT-Hytte, which is very modern and spacious (modern gas stove, numerous rooms / beds, 12V solar power for lighting / extractor, etc.). Himingsjå is located on a small hill near the mountain Himingen (1066 m altitude). Here and to the surrounding peaks (Slettefjellet, Jorønnatten, etc.) are worthwhile long day trips. The cabin can be opened with the standard DNT key.
