The Trolltunga is a unique rock formation that promises you breathtaking photos. But be careful, there is a depth of around 700 meters around you.

The dam was built between 1909 and 1918 for the Tyssedal hydroelectric power station. When completed in 1918, it was one of the largest gravity dams in Europe (222 mil. m³). Ringedalsvatnet now serves as a reservoir for the Oksla hydroelectric power station in Sørfjorden. The lake has a capacity of 426 mil. m³ and the power plant produces approx. 900 GWh per year.

From Nosi there was still snow. Then it was pretty slippery. View just great.

The mountain tour on the Oksen is demanding and in some sections steep and rocky. There are several places where you can fill up your water bottles. At the summit you will be rewarded with an extremely impressive view.

The climb up here is out of this world! The road is good all the way up, and is normally open from around May 1st. The Fonna Summer Ski Center is here, so you'll see a lot of snowboarders and skiiers around all summer! Beware of the weather. It can be cold at the top all year - and weather can change rapidly. So bring extra clothes for the descent.

Spectacular views over the surrounding fjords and green, rocky landscapes. Depending on the weather, you may find yourself hiking above the clouds.
