Following path 10 and signs for Pian delle Noci, you reach the refuge. It's a challenging and bumpy climb. Once at the refuge, you descend towards the Gesiola spring and return to path 10 towards the Orino fortress.

Refugio Localita Alpe Di Guvignone Totally nicely located simple restaurant with great cakes and food. 200 m further on, a beautiful viewpoint overlooking Lake Maggiore. We have not found a better lookout yet. Directly below the viewing platforms, the rocks go down several 100 m vertically.
