Monsagrati is part of the municipality of Pescaglia, in the province of Lucca, in the region of Tuscany.

As soon as you get out of the urbanized strip between mountains and sea, the beautiful natural landscape of northern Tuscany begins. With a very gentle slope, the road leads along the small stream Lucese, only the last two kilometers are a bit steeper, but still remain moderate. At the highest point of the route (216m, one might hardly call it a pass) a combined bicycle shop pub bar invites you to take a break. The exit direction Lucca then a pleasure roles.
