The Barezze Waterfalls are suggestive waterfalls on the Gavon Torrent. The main one, about ten meters long, flows between suggestive reddish slabs. Its origin is to be found in the different nature of quartz porphyries. At the Ponte delle Barezze, the stream encounters a band of softer porphyries and therefore more subject to mechanical erosion. Due to the action of the waters, and above all of the transported rocks, the softer layer was slowly eroded, forming the cliff that can be admired today. We start from the convenient parking (m.620) just below the church of Taibon, via Brustolon along the Tegnas stream. We can follow a path on the right hydrographic side of the valley almost to Col di Pra (recommended only in summer), however, especially in autumn the valley is always very cold and in the shade and it is advisable to cross the bridge of the sports field and reach the main asphalt road. .
