This isn't Lake Cignana! It's Lake Verde (natural) in the Germanasca Valley, overlooked by the refuge of the same name. Cignana is an artificial lake in Valtournenche.

The Jumarre Refuge is located at 1,450 meters above sea level, along the path that from the hamlet of Serre goes up towards Colle della Vaccera. The refuge is an ideal reference point for hikers and bikers, thanks to its panoramic position and the paths that reach it.
