Not far from the summit of the mountain of the same name, around 2,306 meters above sea level, the restaurant of the Alpette refuge boasts more than 160 indoor seats and a great view of Mount Sises. The restaurant was created in the spaces of the old arrival of the cable car that connected Sestriere with the ski slopes on this side of the mountains.

You can plan a nice tour starting from Pragelato, arriving at Alpe Meys and on the way back turn right for the Rifugio Troncea

Pleasant detour for those travelling along the main road of Val Troncea. It can be reached in just over a kilometre but in some places the slopes exceed 15%
