A very beautiful hiking trail. The difficult trail along the water is only suitable for sturdy footwear and children ages 6 and up. The waterfall is easily accessible for everyone and offers a refreshing dip. Be sure to pack your swimsuit. 😉 Access via the town of Gaia, about 2 km from parking lot 4.

to get to the foot of the waterfall there is a very short stretch of via ferrata, about 3 metres.

The municipality of Monticelli Brusati is located on the first foothills of the Brescia pre-Alps and is part of both the Franciacorta consortium and the mountain community of Sebino Bresciano. The territory, particularly calcareous and rich in springs and streams, makes the soil very suitable for viticulture. Monticelli is known for its Gaina hamlet and its waterfalls, where the erosion of the stream has created enchanting and pleasant landscapes: a true corner of peace just a stone's throw from the city.

I recommend this tour especially in early June with yellow lilies blooming all along the waterfall route!
