The Arlaz Waterfall can be reached either from the Col d'Arlaz or from the Orbeillaz car park, following path number 31 which runs alongside the Rû d’Arlaz, a 14th-century artificial canal that channels the water of the Evançon stream and carries it to the municipalities of Challand, Emarese and Montjovet.

I take a path from the parking lot up to the waterfall and then continue along other paths… pity that when I arrived under the waterfall, the canal, called rue, had been closed, so it was all dry

Easy walk just 10 minutes from Champoluc, the waterfall deserves as it offers beautiful views. After the first jump the top it would be good to continue towards Mascognaz as you can discover other interesting points of view, but the path becomes steeper and more bumpy.
