Pizzo Acuto is the lowest of the two thousandths of the Sibillini Mountains, but has a very steep and sharp north ridge, which offers a challenge for expert hikers and mountaineers. From the summit you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding valleys and peaks of the Sibillini, such as Pizzo Tre Vescovi, Pizzo Berro and Monte Priora.

The landscape of Monte Rotondo (1,379 metres) recalls the wide grassy plains of Central Asia. In the Sibillini area there are three peaks with the name Monte Rotondo. The other two are located further south and are decidedly higher. Croce di monte Rotondo has an altitude of 1,900 meters while monte Rotondo 2,100.

From the broad, grassy slopes of Mount Coglia you can enjoy a splendid panorama of Lake Fiastra. The landscape bears witness to the presence of glaciers in the Quaternary, which retreated and left these rolling hills.

Monte Amandola is located at 1706 meters, and is part of the municipality with the same name. One of the stages of the Great Ring of the Sibillini passes here. The area is known for the white truffle. There are the eagle, peregrine falcon, wolf, and there is also the presence of the Marsican bear.

From Monte Coglia you have a beautiful view of Lake Fiastra and the surrounding hills.

Pizzo di Mèta with its 1,576 m. above sea level is certainly one of the most fascinating excursions to do in the Sarnano area 365 days a year. The peak of Pizzo di Meta is located in the northernmost part of the Sibillini Mountains chain and in winter it can be reached with a beautiful snowshoe hike.
