A WONDERFUL SMALL VILLAGE THAT WILL LEAVE YOU OPEN-MOUTHED

RASIGLIA is a micro village crossed by streams and canals. It can be visited in a few minutes, but it is worth the detour. A bit chaotic to walk there during the weekends, because it is packed with tourists.

Along the trail there are "pools" or wells formed naturally by erosion of the small waterfalls above. To protect them, bathing is prohibited... although it is very inviting I must say. Easy and flat trail. Well maintained place.

Simple and pleasant path that allows you to walk along the stream/river. There is also a short but relaxing sensory path

The path along the Sant'Angelo stream, not far from Pieve Torina, winds through woods and meadows following the course of the stream, with small waterfalls and suggestive views of the surrounding mountains.

The Menotre Waterfall Parking offers two route options: park at Pale for a downhill trail on the way there and uphill on the way back, or at Belfiore to tackle the uphill trail on the way there and enjoy the downhill trail on the way back.

Rasiglia, or the little Venice. Along the Menotre valley, reachable with a challenging but not prohibitive climb, the well-maintained road, deserves a passage and a refreshing stop. Excellent local beer! 😉

The Abbadessa Caves in Pale are an interesting karst phenomenon, created mainly by the waters of the Menotre River. These can be found in the underground system created by the waters of the Menotre River, whose precipitation in the underground caves has led to the numerous stalactites and stalagmites. Please note that the caves can currently only be visited on Saturdays and Sundays under expert guidance. Duration approx. 30 minutes, price 6 euros (as of 2024).
