Spectacular panoramic view of the road (with its bridge and hairpin bends), of the waterfalls above and below, and of the valley floor.

A long, scenic climb. Wonderfully strenuous 😅

Be careful of the marked "Rope section", the passage is very slippery and located on a very dangerous overhanging wall. When I passed by, the steel rope had come loose, and there was a nylon rope to replace it, the rope is not well fixed and in my opinion it is risky to trust it with your life. We passed by but I would not do it again. I do not recommend passing on this point at least until the steel rope is fixed again, safely.

Once you reach the Val Gravio refuge, just a few meters away, you will find this small Gravio waterfall. It is small but the water flow flows into a first pool with blue-turquoise water. It is beautiful even if small.

Go to the 2nd floor of the waterfall (sign), it’s worth the detour

It is worth making this other climb, once you get here, because this village recalls some areas of Trentino, in terms of environments... and then, you can enjoy the spectacle of one of the Novalesa waterfalls up close and, on the opposite side, a view overview of the famous abbey (which is worth visiting, given that it is a short distance from where the descent begins)

This waterfall is located near the Novalesa abbey, and there are 2 paths to reach it, each with a 10 minute walk
