Refuge and equipped area immersed in the nature of the Nebrodi Park at a thousand meters above sea level. It is possible to reach Case Zarbata from the crossroads of the bridge over the Flascio, and you can continue the path towards Monte Colla for an excursion in the woods.

The Rifugio del Sole is a small and ancient shepherd's cottage built in stone located in the Nebrodi park. It is immersed in an alpine landscape and from here you can admire the panorama that ranges from the Nebrodi peaks to the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands.

The refuge has suffered vandalism and has rubbish in the adjacent areas but it is an excellent site to camp out due to the presence of numerous nearby springs and streams
