The streams swell in winter or rainy periods. The danger is low; the initial passage to the east is the most critical point, there is a walkway there but it has a prohibition sign, at first glance it seems to be good but personally I did not trust it. If you are unsure and want to see the waterfalls, prefer going and returning along the path to the north, from which you also have a better view.

The piss of Pracchiola is located near the village of the same name, in the upper course of the river Magra at an altitude of 700 meters, in Valdantena. In this part, the river has a torrential regime, before slowing down after Pontremoli. The waterfall is about thirty meters high, very impressive. It can be reached after a path of about 40 minutes.

Great tour to cool off in hot weather. Path not suitable for prams and the like, sometimes quite narrow but very worthwhile. Bathing shoes are useful. After 4 months of drought and 35 degrees of heat, the waterfall was still splashing beautifully.
