Waterfall (104 m high) on the way to Slap Gregorčičev starting from Selce. In (heavy) rain, however, it cannot be reached directly, as you simply cannot cross the river bed - there is no bridge or similar. The way there is very steep and narrow and requires a high degree of surefootedness! Sturdy shoes are essential! The waterfall is easier to reach in summer, so you can cool down in a fine drizzle directly below it.

Kozjak Waterfall, also known as Veliki Kozjak Waterfall, is the highest and most recognizable waterfall on the Kozjak Stream, which flows into the Soča River near Kobarid. The Kozjak Stream is a left tributary of the Soča River and originates high below the ridges of Oblego Brdo (1957m) and Krnčica (2142m). Several smaller streams flow into it, the most important of which is the Muhrank, which flows through Drežniške Ravne and Magozd. The Kozjak Stream has carved out its bed and six waterfalls fall over rock barriers, the most famous of which is the second Veliki Kozjak Waterfall, which is 15 m high. The Veliki Kozjak Waterfall is one of the greatest attractions in Kobarid, also due to its easy accessibility. The waterfall has carved out a dark hall, the ceiling of which has collapsed and the bottom of which is flooded with a blue-green tolmun. A beautifully maintained footpath leads to it, which begins in Kobarid at the bridge, also called Napoleon's Bridge, crosses a large hayfield, and at the end of this, at the stone bridge from 1895, near the confluence of the Kozjak and Soča rivers, we already encounter the first waterfall, called Mali Kozjak (height 8 m), which falls into a pool 10 m deep. Along the way, there are also a few caverns, remnants of the First World War. The upper four waterfalls are difficult to access, as there are no maintained footpaths to them. Since June 2019, a fee for the use of tourist infrastructure has been collected by the Municipality of Kobarid.
