'탑의 도시' 중심부에는 엔스의 상징인 탑이 우뚝 솟아 있습니다. 중앙 광장에서는 많은 발견의 출발점이기도 한 독립된 시청탑을 방문할 수 있습니다. 중앙 광장에서 출발하여 작은 상점, 레스토랑 및 기타 명소를 방문할 수 있습니다!

슈타트베르크 북쪽 지역에는 1100년경 최초의 통치자 또는 공작 궁전(석조 건물)이 세워졌습니다. 이 역시 낡아서 무너지자 대신 엔스젝 성이 지어졌습니다. 새로 단장된 성과 그 성의 정원은 감상과 휴식을 위해 여러분을 초대합니다. 이 성은 1569/70년에 황실 고문인 Dr. Gienger가 건축했으며, 17세기에 바로크 양식의 증축이 이루어졌습니다. 에벨스베르크 전투 후 나폴레옹은 이 성에 머물렀습니다. 그는 그곳에서 파괴된 엔스 다리의 재건을 지켜보았습니다. 오늘날까지도 이 전망은 "나폴레옹 전망"이라고 불립니다.

The main square in Enns is the historic center of Austria's oldest town and is dominated by the striking 60-meter-high town tower, the town's landmark. Surrounding the square are well-preserved town houses from various eras, which today house shops, restaurants, and the Lauriacum Museum. The main square is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike – markets, events, and festivals are regularly held here. The square is particularly attractive for cyclists, as it is located on the Danube Cycle Path (R1) and offers an ideal rest stop with cafés and attractions.

Crossing option Upper Austria/Lower Austria. Refreshment options at Fischerwirt or Kirchenwirt Ernsthofen, Kirchenwirt Haidershofen (always check opening hours beforehand 😉). Continue towards Mostviertel or Steyr.

The ascent from Behamberg on the west side leads steeply across the meadow, then into the forest, where it becomes more comfortable. On the east side, a nice, flat singletrack trail runs through the forest, not shown on the maps. Outside the forest, the path leads into/through the meadow to a farm driveway.
