It is the main route, all on a dirt road in excellent condition, within the Ciminna Reserve. Can be done both from Ciminna towards Lake Rosamarina and in reverse. From this main route it is also possible to follow two other paths (2 and 3) to make a more complete tour of the reserve.

Lake Rosamarina, also known as the dam or lake of Caccamo, is among the largest in Sicily and thanks to the clarity of the waters it allows sight fishing at about 800 meters from the dam, where large predators are found. For example, record-breaking fish have been caught, such as Black Bass weighing over 3.5 kg. For those who do not practice spinning fishing there are also a large quantity of carp, tench and bleak.

This is the off-road route to / from the Lago Rosamarina dam. A wide easy gravel road, with some larger stones here and there. As soon as the lake appears behind the trees, there is a beautiful view.

It attracts mainly locals who practice water sports and easy mountain biking. Terrain: On and off-road cycling. First section on urban roads, then climb on a secondary road. The area around the lake is mostly flat and almost car free. The lakeside trail is wide, but uneven and potholed in places. Expect some mud during the winter months.
