The Pinganillo Free Shelter is a wild hut located in the Community of Madrid. It is located near the Vivero Forestal forest and Bailanderos peak. If you are interested in exploring the area, you can follow the route to the El Pinganillo shelter from Miraflores de la Sierra. This hiking route will take you on a beautiful route in the mountains, with impressive views and the possibility of enjoying nature. In addition, there are other nearby routes that will allow you to explore the area, such as the one that leads to La Najarra and Bailanderos, passing through Arroyo Aguilón and Chozo del Pinganillo. The Chozo de Aranguez free refuge is located at the foot of the north face of Peñalara, on its Segovian side. This small cabin allows a refuge in case of need, being very well maintained despite its accessible location. The Aranguez free refuge is a small stone house that we reached after a beautiful walk through the forest. Its location allows you to have a wonderful view of the northern slope of the Peñalara massif, as it is right at your feet.

small shelter for 2-4 people with a good fireplace (although with a lot of air) and well furnished. the views are spectacular. It's worth the climb.

A great place, easily accessible, but surrounded by mountains and without civilization. It consists of a living room with a wood stove and a fireplace, a small gas stove for cooking and a room with continuous bunk beds with capacity for ~25 people. It is a guarded refuge, it is also 100% ecological (it works with solar energy, rainwater, etc.).

A privileged place due to the views from there to the entire Segovian valley, with Segovia, La Granja, Valsaín, and on clear days to the Peña de Francia.

The hut no longer has the stove, they removed it because it was deteriorated and... for now they haven't put any, don't go thinking about the warmth that you can make with the firewood. Otherwise, it is in great condition. Another thing is the garbage that you upload ....take her away
