The small animal enclosure, a rather quiet wooded area, and the Kuhlake stream flowing through it make for a beautiful hiking area. Following the Kuhlake, you can reach places like Eiskeller, where the temperature regularly drops by 10 degrees Celsius in winter and is always hotter in summer than in the rest of Berlin. Those wishing to hike the Berlin Wall Trail will also find it in this wooded area. Thanks to the well-maintained paths, no high level of fitness is required. Mountain biking is also easily possible.

Rustic moorland landscape - crossing it is very adventurous!

The Kuhlake is the main artery of the irrigation system of the Spandau Forest, behind the game reserves at Johannesstift. Surrounding it are some moorland areas with special flora and fauna.

The citizen deposit is a bathing place in Spandau. The name comes from the former storage for wood at this point. Freshly felled tree stumps were stored here in abundance. The proceeds from the sold wood did not benefit the combing department, but the citizens' cash register.

Beautiful bathing area with DLRG station, kiosk, restaurant 🥪🌭🍕🍟🥛🍦☕️🍰 and toilet. Ideal for a rest, right on the long-distance cycle path🚴‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️🚴 Berlin-Copenhagen.

Teufelsbruch is currently not to be crossed without rubber boots. No bridge available. Walked around it.

The jetty has not been there for over 1 year - the water level in the moor is too high. With waterproof shoes or barefoot you may still get through otherwise you should choose the alternative route
