The landscape of the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park was formed around 15,000 years ago by the Weichselian glaciation, with terminal moraines in the north and east and outwash plains in the south and west. Here you'll find around 230 lakes, 3,000 moors, and the largest grazing forest in Central Europe. The area is home to rare species such as ospreys, pond turtles, and orchids – even 10 percent of all German ospreys breed here. Tip: Take a multi-day hike "Around the Schorfheide" or explore some of the 150 kilometers of waterways and historical monuments in this unique natural setting. 🚣 🐟 🦅

Beautiful rest area at Stolpsee

Quiet campingplatz. Friendly staff, clean service. There's a restaurant embedded in the area. Ample area for tents, and nice access to the lake which is facing west, so as a bonus you get a fantastic sunset view

Beautiful anchorage in a bay of the Stolpsee

This campsite right on the lake is highly recommended for cyclists. The staff is super nice, prices are completely reasonable, showers and toilets are clean, as is the tent meadow. The highlight is the jetty right on the lake in the early morning hours.

The Stolpsee is one of several bodies of water through which the Havel flows. Here it is beautiful, quiet and close to nature.

Very friendly welcome, uncomplicated, unfortunately the power bank was stolen from us while charging overnight in the toilet. So better use the charging cabinets in the weather hut. Nevertheless, we are happy to recommend the course. The place and the administration can not do anything for it.
