Only here can you see a larger part of the Döllnsee, which has three very different long sections. This place on the lake is particularly beautiful in summer. There is no other place on the entire lake where you can find such a wide little beach, and the rear part is largely overgrown with water lilies.

The hiking trail around the lake is now also easy to ride on a mountain bike.

The path/trail begins on the access road to Carinhall, just behind the Döllnsee forestry machine yard, and, apart from the short western shore, runs along the entire northern shore. At first it goes across the hotel grounds, although this is not a problem on the natural path, and the hotel grounds soon end. The path is actually a hiking trail, but it is very easy to cycle. Just before the narrowest part of the lake, the path forks, and both paths later meet again. If you are cycling, the right path is the worse choice.🥴
