The Wehebach Dam is located between Hürtgenwald in the Düren district and Stolberg (Rhineland) in the Aachen city region in North Rhine-Westphalia. It was put into operation in 1983 for flood protection, drinking water supply and to raise low water levels. Below the dam, the Wehebach continues to flow into the Inde and the Rur. Unfortunately, you can only get there on foot. Are around 100m, but the view is great. You should wear long trousers otherwise you scratched your legs like me.
