Bird paradise: This attracts numerous water birds in winter, which find open water and food there when the rest of the lake is already frozen over. 🔔 The "Klöcksken von Offlum" is a charming historical stop on the circular hiking trail around Lake Offlum in Neuenkirchen. However, it is not a classic monastery complex with preserved buildings, but rather a memorial site steeped in local history.

You can take beautiful hikes around Lake Offlum and you can eat very well in the café/restaurant "Ewige Liebe".
