Nice place for crossing the lake. There is little traffic on the road, and a separate lane for pedestrians (and bikes, I hope) exists on the western side.

On Vodní Nádrž Nové Mlýny (Nové Mlýny dam) near Strachotín always along the water with beautiful views of the mountains and castles of the Pollau Mountains (Palava) to the Svratka estuary in the Dyje (Thaya). Signposted as ATCM bike route, paved except for a short section.

Between the reservoirs, the bike path is not so perfect, but the landscape is great.
