Forest refuge on the heights of Mont Pelloux, on the municipal border. The fire pit and table are arranged in terrace style. A branch cabin was built right next to it when I passed by.

Very simple, but charming. When I arrived there, I immediately liked the simple and harmonious architecture with the forest.

Chalet-Refuge du Gros-Morond of the Club Alpin Français (CAF). Space for a total of up to 30 people in 4 bedrooms. Ski room, toilets, laundry and shower rooms available. Large common room with adjoining fully equipped kitchen. Request directly via the CAF: https://chaletdugrosmorond.ffcam.fr/

Magnificent! Always well maintained! The inhabitants of Senarclens can be proud of this easily accessible and very welcoming refuge.

Nice little refuge with table and place for the fire. It seems that it belongs to the commune of Grancy.

The refuge is in the border of the forest and has an amazing view over the alps. Around April white anemones are covering the woods. If nobody is renting it, you can use the tables outside. Information for renting on https://www.dizy.ch/informations-pratiques-fr25.html
