A beautiful path runs directly along the lake. Here you can take a detour to the beach and enjoy the view of the water. There's also a place to stop for a refreshment if you want to take a longer break.

On the shores of Lake Geneva, the town of Nyon stands out for its views of the vast expanse of water, with the Chablais Alpine massif as a backdrop. It is particularly known for its beautiful castle which today houses the historical and porcelain museum.

Up until that day I had no idea how many lovely, welcoming little towns there are on the way from Geneva to Lausanne. The paths are all easily accessible.

Very beautiful village on the shores of Lake Geneva

Nyon is a pretty town in the canton of Vaud, located on the shores of Lake Geneva. It is famous for being the starting point of the GR 5 which runs to the Netherlands.

Clear view of Lake Geneva, imbued with poetry and history engraved in the rock of this pier. Crossing the village with its cobbled pedestrian streets does not leave you indifferent and leads to the shores of the lake.
