The high sidewalks in the old town were exceptional and if the access to the elevator to the castle is also hidden underneath, the only thing left to do is to look. We took the elevator up to the castle, the descent, less strenuous, on foot. The landmark of the city of Thun is very well preserved national cultural monument. From here we had a great view of the city and the mountains.

A nice place to stay and with children to play in the playground. A restaurant is located in the castle estate.

The view from the castle (attention! Is privately owned and must not be entered) is a feast for the eyes. Especially when the sky is cloudless.
