A very exceptional park, beautiful to look at.

You can access Quail Creek from this intersection. It's another State Park turned into a desert oasis like nearby Sand Hollow. The views created by the contrasting blue water and striking red cliffs are incredible and worth the short detour.

Quail Creek is a 600-acre reservoir. This beach offers a great view of the hills on the other side of the reservoir where mountain bikers will find several tracks. There also are informative boards about the park.

Fire Lake Park at Ivins Reservoir is a small lake surrounded by beautiful red sandstone mountains and rock formations. There is a paved path around the reservoir. This park does not allow dogs and the parking lot is on the smaller side and tends to fill up quickly. Parking is not allowed on the street- once the parking lot is full, new visitors are not allowed. This spot has public showers and restrooms.

The beautiful sunsets and mountains are here every day for you to enjoy. However, if you find yourself in the area when the water is high you must check out the waterfalls just down the road.
