We hiked through the gorge in September, and the number of hikers was okay. It was very nice to hike through the narrow sections alone and without stress.

Not an easy undertaking, the gorge is littered with boulders and you need to be sure-footed. You have to climb 146 metres to reach the plateau. The highlight is the almost overhanging rock face that shines golden in the evening sun.
