I have shared several pictures, although some of them were only taken in or from the castle. The road and places leading there also belong to the castle, so I have uploaded some of them. The castle can be reached from Dobó Square, across the bridge, going straight up the street lined with shops, wine bars and restaurants. The rest speaks for itself.

Definitely visit if you are in Cheb. It's worth it

The ruins are right next to the hiking trail. You can't miss them that easily. There is also an information table next to it, unfortunately only in Hungarian. Nevertheless, I find the place very interesting.

In the eastern part of the Mátra, a lonely volcanic mountain peak, the 296 m high Castle Hill, bursts towards the sky, with the walls of Sirok Castle on it. The oldest history and traces of Sirok Castle can be traced back to the time of the Avars, who (according to some assumptions) fortified Castle Hill, which was so excellent for defense, and fortified it and established a permanent station here. A high point of history for Hungary. Here they successfully defended themselves against the Turkish overwhelming power in 1552.
