Perfect little refugi - it includes a few mattresses, some firewood, an oven/stove and there were even candles when I came. Please contribute your part for the next person and leave it in a better condition than you found it.

The Caro refuge is located in the heart of the Els Ports natural park, at an altitude of 1,441 metres, under the shelter of the highest peak in Tarragona. It can accommodate up to 32 people, spread over four rooms. Overnight stays can include breakfast or half board, although there is also the option of preparing a picnic on the road. It also has showers with hot water.

Nice refuge. However, there is no catering.

Beautiful refuge with good food.

Great accommodation with good food. We stayed there on our long-distance hike from Tarifa to Switzerland and felt very comfortable.

There's an open area in one of the refuges that offers good shelter for the night in windy and rainy weather. We were able to sit out the rain here for three hours this morning. :)

Mountain refuge located in the Ports Natural Park and belonging to the Federation of Excursionist Entities of Catalonia. It is guarded and open on weekends and throughout the summer.

This mountain refuge is owned by the Amposta Hiker Group, where you have to go to ask for the key if you want to access the guarded part, although it has a free access part.
