Fiľakovo Castle (German: Burg Fileck; Slovak: Fiľakovský hrad, Hungarian: Fülek vára) is the ruins of a hilltop castle in southern Slovakia. It stretches across a volcanic hill almost in the heart of the town of Fiľakovo.

Svätý Anton Castle is a Baroque-Classical palace with a beautiful English-style park. Today, it houses a museum with historical and hunting exhibits. In addition to the wonderful interiors with original furnishings, visitors will enjoy a long corridor lined with numerous hunting trophies, especially deer antlers. The showpiece is the Golden Salon, featuring furniture that Maria Theresa gave to her daughter Antoinette as a wedding gift.

Castle was built in the 13th century and was full of life until the 16th century, today it is a fairly well-preserved ruin with beautiful views and fallow deer enclosures surrounding it

Old Castle Divin. At the moment (summer 2023) there is some reconstruction work going on, but we were still able to move around very freely and climb around everywhere. Nice view of the area. In the village itself there is ice cream and a few restaurants. Translation of the story: 1329 – the castle is mentioned under the name of Dyun; 1393 – the castle is mentioned under the name castrum Duyen; 15th century – the Tomaj and Losoncz families gradually rebuilt and expanded the castle; 1467 – 1469 – the castle is mentioned under the name of castrum Dywyn; 15th century - Divín under the administration of the Losonczi family, Michal Orsgh and Ján Nádasdy - Ongor; 1522 - 1526/until 1679 - The Divín Castle is owned by the Balasso family; 1554 – The Turks conquered Fiľakovo and established the administrative district headquarters there.
