One of the three stalactite caves in the Bitburg-Prüm district is located on the Holsthum/Peffingen border. It is a high calcareous sinter cliff through which a small stream flows. A staircase leads up the Huwelslay stream. At the bottom of the path, a little to the side, you can climb up the rock to a bench in the rock. I would recommend just reading the information board and not climbing up to the rock with the small caves. You can catch a glimpse of the barred cave entrances, but that's all.
