The Nibelungenhalle, opened in 1913 for Richard Wagner's 100th birthday, shows one of the most important collections of paintings on the "Ring of the Nibelung". The Nibelungen saga was the reason for building the hall here on the Drachenfels in honor of Richard Wagner. The domed building in the "Late Art Nouveau" shows mystical paintings of the four operas Rheingold, Valkyrie, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. A great nature trail with display boards, which you can understand even as a layman. The access to the caves should be done better with sturdy shoes. Really worthwhile and you should definitely make a detour to the autumn labyrinth. Really worth it.

An interesting quarry with lots to discover. If you pause a bit, many animals can be observed. The entrance is sometimes under water, then access is only possible with boots or barefoot (if you dare). Quite busy on Sundays and public holidays. Worth seeing in every season.

Simply fascinating and definitely worth a visit to the eternal ice. Pleasant cooling off on hot days and you can also linger here very well. A sign explains the phenomenon of "Eternal Ice" in a way that everyone can understand. We will definitely come back here.
