Next time I ride the trail, I'd start at Rodris in the Kaltbrunnental valley. The first section is very difficult to almost impassable, and the access bridges are actually closed to all bikes.

Pure nature! As the name suggests, nice and cool in hot temperatures. However, in winter it is even colder than elsewhere.... Very busy on weekends and during school holidays! PLEASE be trail tolerant!
