Only a few kilometers long and still quite immodest, the Rotten River is located here, very close to its source on the Rhone Glacier further up. The hiking trail down (or up) to Oberwald runs very close to the river, which is more of a mountain stream here.

Blinntal is a hidden MTB gem in Goms. Gradients are pleasant, not too steep, and the path is technically easy with an MTB. Should also be doable with a gravel bike.

The old pass route towards the Albrun Pass is now part of the Rhine-Reuss-Rhone pilgrimage route. The path leads through the Twingi Gorge with its historic Roman bridge into the Hockmatta.
