The quarry is partially open, for example when sculpture symposia are held there. Very interesting old mining equipment is in use.

An explanation of the operational situation. This station has a long siding. Presumably for freight from the paper mills and the sawmill. Here too, the loading ramp on track 2 meant that the wagons could be loaded quickly and efficiently directly from the station side.

The Walzweiher is a reservoir of the Aschbach in the Palatinate Forest in the area of the local community of Stelzenberg, which belongs to the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Kaiserslautern.

The tower is finished. Nice place to take a break and look over the Palatinate Forest. On a clear day you can see the towns around Krickenbach very well
